Conference Details

The aim of this joint conference is to provide a forum for broad scientific and technological exchange amongst researchers and academics from around the world. The conference will focus on the fundamentals of crystal growth, different types of crystals and their crystallisation environment, crystallisation engineering and crystallisation characterisation techniques.

  • The program will take place in two parallel sessions (CGOM and BACG).

  • CGOM12 will run from Sunday evening through to Thursday and will contain longer more open-ended presentation with extended time for discussion

  • BACG will run from Tuesday afternoon through to Thursday evening and will contain a more traditional format with shorter presentations

  • Delegates can attend the presentations in either meeting on the days for which they have registered.

  • On the Friday after closure of CGOM12/BACG2016, the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (APS) will run a Symposium on the Digital Design of Drug Products – More details available here.

  • On Sunday 26th June, a PhD student event will take place to allow PhD students the opportunity to share their research and network. More details available here.

Registration will include entry to all sessions on the days you are registered for, abstracts on USB memory stick, refreshments and lunches throughout the conference.

The conference dinner will also be available for £30 pp to include a three course dinner & wine. 

Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences

APS registration includes catering and refreshments throughout the day. On Thursday evening before the APS Symposium, Tommy Dolan will be giving an evening lecture on “The Future of Medicines Manufacture: Towards Digital Design”. The Conference dinner will also be taking place on Thursday evening.

Accommodation will be available to book online in early 2016

On campus accommodation will be available in Storm Jameson Court, Charles Morris Hall throughout the conference.
